Jenny Stoughton Ministries Launch and First Quarter
In December of 2023, Jenny Stoughton felt the calling to leave her southern gospel music group and start a solo ministry. Since the decision to go into solo ministry, the doors have flung wide open and the blessings have not stopped pouring out.

December
In December Jenny sang at one church and one nursing home. What might
seem light a humble beginning allowed Jenny to glimpse the immense blessing her music ministry would bring to anyone who listened. A family member shared with Jenny the impact that she had on her son. He was in such a dark place in life, but after hearing Jenny sing, he was touched and felt drawn to stay and listen to Jenny’s time of ministry. After feeling the Lord’s presence through her music, he wants to seek the Lord more.
At the nursing home, Jenny had the privilege of seeing the marginalized and
neglected in our elderly community light up with the love of Jesus coming forth in her songs. Jenny shares these words about her nursing home experience: When I sing of Jesus, their faces light up! Their hands raise up! Their voices join with mine in songs of the love of Jesus! Many will stand to their feet!— from their walker or wheelchair!! It is wonderful to bless this group of people with the knowledge: God has not forgotten them! He sees them! And He loves them!!
My son Brennen has felt called to bless the residents of these nursing homes with me, and God has laid on his heart words to bless the veterans and singing of our God Bless the USA. Tears come to the eyes of the nursing home residents and staff as the Holy Spirit pours out his love on them.  Jenny blesses the nursing home residents with memories of their childhood faith through the beautiful hymns she sings in ministry to them.

January
From two bookings in December, Jenny lunched into seven sings in January, two churches and five nursing homes. Again Jenny shares the impact her music has on the residents of the nursing homes:
What seems to be cloudy or non-responsive on their faces, their faces lighten up when they hear an old hymn or an old song that jogs their memory and takes them back. You see life just come back into their faces, or toes tap a little beat in their body.

Jenny also sees the Spirit moving through the churches she ministers at. People who start out sitting and listening attentively to the performance are soon on their feet in worship with Jenny. They are giving all their praise and attention to the One who is worthy to be praised. The focus in these ministry events is not on Jenny, as the Spirit moves, he draws all the attention to himself and begins to work in the hearts of those present.

February
Jenny’s bookings increased again in February as she sang at seven churches and six nursing homes. The experiences at these events were the same as those described above. God is clearly moving in and through Jenny Stoughton Ministries! At one church this month, Jenny met a woman who regularly feeds those in need in her community. She always brings the gospel message to the people while they fill their bellies. She shared her ministry to a woman living with autism who struggled to find
God’s acceptance, saying she just wanted to be “normal like everybody else.” But this woman was able to testify, “God created you in your own unique and special way and you don’t have to change or be normal by anybody else’s eyes but God’s.” Jenny was blessed to be able to minister in this community to share the love of Jesus with those who are in need.

March
In March Jenny continued to minister in more churches and nursing homes. One church was a recovery center for those struggling in the battle of addiction. Jenny was amazed to see how the Spirit of God moved among those broken people. At one point, the alter was full of these beautiful souls seeking more of God, the only answer for their every need. One woman shared, “When you stopped and prayed, that changed my life, and now I’m the same vessel for other people. I am able to spread the ministry now
from my own testimony, to share how God has moved.”

God is moving through Jenny Stoughton Ministries in a might way! We invite you to partner with Jenny through prayer or through financial support. Most of the places that Jenny ministers are not able to pay her much more than a small love offering. She pays for the cost of travel, lodging, and food for herself and her team. Any financial gift is always appreciated. We also invite you to book Jenny for your church or event! She
has a few free dates coming up yet this spring! Won’t you consider inviting the presence of God to move in your midst through Jenny Stoughton Ministries?!
